Is late December or early January a hot season to Harbin?

Late December or early January is a hot season for traveling to Northeast China like Harbin, Shenyanng and Yabuli etc. Also it is during the Ice and Snow Festival time, so the tickets in and out of Harbin are indeed under great demands. It is recommended to buy the ticket in advance and choose some back up trains or seat class as well in case your most preferred one is not available. Hope for your kind understanding.
