About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Doubble stop.

I have googled and googled. Emailed embassys and consulates. Emailed all the involved companies, and sometimes even their owners.. No answers. The above information kind of sums up all the info Ive found. The above text is the most complete info regardig chinese visas, including all emabssys.

Itinerary:
Copenhagen->Chengdu
1 hour on the ground
Chengdu->Kunmin
4 hours on the ground
Kunmin->Bangkok

If I understand everything correctly we are well in the zone of the 24 hour free transit?

/Klas

You do not need a visa but immigration may thoroughly question you at the airport to determine your eligibility for the 24-hour entry permit. Don't expect embassies/consulates to return your emails (they hardly even answer your calls these days), and instead just directly contact the immigration inspection station at the port of entry for detailed info.
