About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit in Guangdong

i am travelling from the UK for a meeting in Guangzhou area.

I will be at the factory for no more than 24 hours maximum.

Can i fly London to Beijing and connect onto another flight onto GZ and then return GZ- Beijing-London on a 72 hour visa? or must i be in transit and apply for a 72 hour visa in GZ? Thanks for your help

You need a visa in advance or different flights. You do not qualify for transit without visa because you're not in transit to a third country. And two stops in China would limit you to 24 hours transit without visa too.

Thanks Rob. So i can travel Dubai to Guangzhou conduct meeting at factory and leave Guangzhou to Dubai and use the visitor visa?

If you have a Chinese visa in your passport then yes, of course you can visit Guangzhou like that.
