About:Haikou Meilan Airport

Hainan Visa Free Entry

Hello, We are a group of 25 people from Philippines travelling to Hainan with a lay over at Guangzhou airport/ Can we still avail of the visa free access even if we will be arriving at the domestic airport? We have a local travel agent in Hainan as well who told us that we cannot avail it since our lay over is in Guangzhou. Please enlighten us

You cannot avail the visa free as you arrive in Guangzhou not Hainan.

Thanks for the information. Any advise what we can do since we are running out of time in applying for the visa. The flight is on Wednesday (November 14). Can we get a visa on arrival?

Dear, I'm afraid you have to apply for the Chinese visa before your trip. You cannot get the free visa or the arrival visa. You can apply for a fast-track application service.
