About:144-hour Visa-free Transit in Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu

Into Beijing from Europe 3 days, then Shanghai 2 nights out to India - 144hour visa valid?

We are flying into Beijing from Europe Nov. 16th and stay for 3 days then onto Shanghai for 2 nights and then we fly to India. Does the 144 hours rule apply here and in case can we take the train or aeroplane from Beijing to to Shanghai?

You need a visa. Two stops in China limits you to 24 hours transit without visa.
