Hi, I am flying from Indonesia to Guangzhou, I would like to stay in Guangzhou for 1 night and then take the train to Hong Kong -

You must get a visa. So far there have been no successful reports on using the 24-hour TWOV by train. Most people were refused travel by airlines and a few were turned back at immigration.
