Hi,
I am Bruneian and my wife is Malaysian as permanent resident of Brunei, We would like to visit China, Guangzhau for 5 days stay. Do we need visa permit,

You don't need it. Your wife needs to apply for a tourist L type from the Chinese embassy in your country.
