About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Are round-trip eligible for transit visa?

Can someone take advantage of free transit with a round-trip ticket to one of the eligible city destination in China? Or is the 'onward' destination must be different from the point of origin?

A round trip ticket doesn't work for the TWOV (it's not a transit visa).

You must fly country A - B (China) - C

A and C must be different.
