About:China Transit Visa

Can we go to the out and come back for the transit flight

Hi,
I am Sri Lankan and plan to go to Australia - Sydney, through the Chengdu airport (transit airport) but Connection Time: 19hr 20min. So how do I suppose to get out for 15 or fewer hours and come back to the Chengdu airport?
Is that possible?

Maybe you can get the 24h twov in Chengdu. In this case, you are allowed to get out to explore the city.

If you want to be certain that you can leave the airport you'll need a transit visa. Leaving without a visa comes down to the officers discretion.
