12 hours in beijing - dominican republic passport holder

Question

Hi,I am a Citizen of Dominican Republic. On return from Mumbai to New York on Air China, I have a lay over in Beijing for 12 hours.  I wish to visit the city for few hours.  Will I be allowed to leave the airport for a city visit?  Thanks.

You can use the 24h twov in Beijing, and you are allowed to leave the airport for a city visit.

Dear WesleyMany thanks for your answer.How's about procudure for get 24h visa. What will I need to prepare before departure to Beijing ? (ex, picture,  application form or somthing esle,... and  off course, I must to have air tikect to 3rd country) Thanks

Documents for Application: Passport valid for at least 3 months from the date of entry; Visa for a third country or region (if applicable); A full completed Arrival/Departure Card; An onward ticket with confirmed seat are needed.Procedure:Inform the airlines when boarding – Fill an Arrival/Departure Card on the flight - Apply the 72-hour permit – Claim the luggage – Go through the custom - Leave airport
