About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

24-month visa for China not used for original visit

Hi - I have a two -year visa issued in November 2017 for a trip that was cancelled. The entry permit is valid for another 12 months and I have to visit China in a few weeks under a different invitation letter. Do I need a new one or is the current one still valid?
