I have a companion pass on delta, going standby. I would have a printed ticket with dates/times of flights. Any problem?

No problems if you have a visa. It obviously won't qualify for transit without visa because it's not a transit. Moreover, for twov you must have a confirmed seat and stand-by is not allowed.
