About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transfer in Beijing with less than 24 hours - can I leav the airport?

I am a Czech Republic citizen, flying from Viena to Ho Chi Minh City with a 15 hours long transfer in Beijing. I would like to ask if I can leave the airport to visit the city. If yeas, under what conditions? On onewebside I have found a note, that in case of transfers under 24 hours, no visa are needed but people cannot leave the airport. Can you cnfirm or deny this policy? Thank you for your answer.

You can get the 24h twov in Beijing, and you can leave the airport to visit the city. No need to worry.
