About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Please advise if I would be eligible for the 72 hour visa on arrival.

Hi, I am a UK citizen and will be travelling to Singapore and intend to then travel to Shanghai for two days to undertake a couple of business meetings.

There is no such thing as a "72 hour visa on arrival". If you are in transit to a third country, you would be eligible for 144 hour transit without visa.
