Swedish national working in Malaysia

Dear Sirs,
Can i apply for a visa to China as a Swedish national working in Malaysia? What documents are required?

If you go to China for sightseeing purpose, you may need to prepare your passport and copy of its data page, the application form, passport-style photo, residence permit in there, round trip air tickets and hotel reservation.
