About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Visa for visiting the city of Shanghai

I am flying from India to Canada with a 19 hr layover in Shanghai. Can I exit the airport and visit Shanghai city for a couple of hours, and if yes, do I need a visa for it ?

You can enjoy free transit in Shanghai, no visa will be needed. If you have hotel reservation, you could be able to leave the airport.
