About:Huangshan Railway Station

Héféi Huangshan

I’d like to go on the Yellow Montain from Héféi. I have just one afternoon and two full days. What is the best option to stay, let’s say, one day on the montain and one in some old village? Is the speed train line leaving at Héféi South and arriving at Huangshan North? What should I do when I arrive there? Thank you.

Yes. There are high speed trains available between with a duration of around 1.5 to 2 hours。

When you arrive at Huangshan North Railway Station, you can take a tour bus or taix in the front square of the station to the transfer center of Mt. Huangshan. The buses depart from 08:00 to 20:20, while the taxi ride costs around CNY 160. Upon arrival, you may transfer the bus to Yungu Temple to buy the entrance tickets with the cable car ticket to White Goose Ridge, which will save more time for climbing. Stay overnight at a hotel on the mountain to appreciate the stunning sunset and sunrise. Next morning, down to the hill and take Yuping cable car to Tangkou. After that, transfer to Hongcun Village and stay a night there. On the third day, you can walk around the village and visit some other villages according to your own time.
