Amsterdam to Auckland with stopover in Beijing

Hi,

We're flying from Amsterdan to Beijing with a stopover in London.
We then have 4 days in Beijing
We fly from Beijijng to Auckland with a stopover in Hong Kong

Do we apply for the 144 hour via-free transit? Is Hong Kong considered as a stopover in Mainland China?

Thanks for your help!

Yes, Hong Kong is regarded as a third region in terms of transit issues and you can apply for the 144-hour visa free transit when you arrive at Beijing airport.
