Nigerian passport. I'm a Nigerian on valid China work (Z) and residence permit visa,

can I visit Hong Kong without applying to visit? Does the Chinese residence permit visa allows multiple entry while residing in mainland China for Nigerians?

You are correct that the Chinese residence permit allows multiple entry while residing in mainland China for Nigerians. But you are supposed to apply for a visit visa for HK.
