About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

TORONTO - SHANGHAI-KUALA LUMPUR

I arrive around 7pm in PVG and catch the next morning flight around 9am to Kuala Lumpur, my question is am i qualified for the 24 hour transit without visa as Eastern Airlines will provide overnight accommodation and i need to clear custom upon arrival. Thank you in advance

Your trip qualifies for the free transit in Shanghai. No visa will be required. If you want to stay at the overnight accommodation, you need to clear custom upon arrival.
