About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

About 144 hours Free Visa

I'm Latvian citizen, and i will go on exibition in Shanghai for two day how can i get this visa and where and how long time it will take?! Thank you beforehand!

There is no “144 hours Free Visa”. There is 144 hours transit without visa, which is only available to you if you are transiting China in Shanghai only, on non-stop flights. For visits to China (not transit) you need a visa in advance.

There is a way to take advantage of 144 hour transit to visit he exhibition. If you book the right flights you may be considered a transit passenger and can attend exhibition. If you travel Country A > Shanghai > Country C you can then transit without visa to attend. Examples:

Latvia > Germany> Shanghai > Sweden > Latvia
Latvia > Hong Kong > Shanghai > Russia > Latvia
