24 or 72 transit visa from Abu Dhabi (UK national)

Hi, I'm British national living in the UAE.

Planned trip:

Abu Dhabi > Beijing (Capital Airport) (land 08:50am) stay 1 day and leave the following morning

Beijing (Capital Airport) (dep 08:00) > Hong Kong

Do I qualify for the 24 hour and/or 72 hour free transit? If so is there anything that is required to be submitted beforehand or do the airlines/hotels make the arrangements?
