About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

24 HR transit visa. Hi I have 14 hrs layover in Beijing from JFK to PEK to MNL

.Can I apply for the 24 hrs direct transit at the Beijing airport and do some sightseeing at great wall?

Or do I need to secure visa from China embassy here in Manila?

Fill an Arrival/Departure Card at the border inspection counter
Get the temporary entry permit stamp or sticker
Claim the luggage (if needed)
Go through the customs
