About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Short visit to Beijing

Hi, We are flying from the United States to Seoul, South Korea, then a few days later traveling from Seoul to Beijing, staying two nights, then returning back to the United States. Would we qualify for the 72 hour visa waiver? Thank you.

Hello,
I just came back through Beijing, China 10-05-18. From the beginning it was very confused, lack of officials and procedures, etc... There are 3 separated terminal buildings at Beijing Capital Airport. Every passenger should pass through regular immigration and security check points regardless of transit or transfer. Passengers should fill out "temporary entry permit" to move to the other terminal buildings, even by shuttle buses. Then re-check at the airline counter in a long line. If you don't have a boarding pass for next flight, this is the same procedure. Each way, I spent 1.5 hrs. Good luck for Beijing !!!
