About:Xian Transportation

We arrive past midnight at Xian but our train is only at 6.50am.

Is it safer to stay at the airport than at the railway station ?
What is the best and safest way to get to railway station from airport to catch 6.50am train ?

Well, it is convenient for you to stay nearby the railway station. Because there is no public transportation from the airport to downtown area at 3am or 4am.

Thus upon landing, you can take shuttle bus to the Main Railway Station directly. The ticket fare is CNY 25/person. It takes around an hour on the way. After arriving, you can easily find a chain hotel nearby. Don't worry.
