About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

London - Shanghai - London

Attending a one day meeting in Shanghai on Sun 14th Oct - propose flying in Sat 13th and out again either Sun 14th pm or Monday 15th am. As I am going from Country A back to Country A would this cover me ?

You need a visa to fly UK-China-UK. You need to fly via a third country, eg LON-SHA-HKG-LON or LON-HKG-SHA-LON to qualify for transit without visa.
