Take train on 72-Hour Visa-free Transit

Hello,
I have flight from Bangkok to Wuhan and 3 days later another flight from Wuhan to Viet-nam. I will use 72-Hour Visa-free Transit.

However, During my trip in China, I need to go to Jingzhou (1h train far from Wuhan). Am I authorized to take train? Do train officer check visa before taking train?

Leaving the city is not allowed so you'll do so at your own risk. There are document checks at train stations, although they may not particularly look for visas. YMMV.
