About:China Tourist Visa

china visa waiver. Thanks for your 26 September response, Rob.

What is the position if, assuming we qualify for the visa waiver for the 2 day Shanghai visit and our cruise ship then visits S. Korea and Japan for brief stops, can we thereafter apply for a further visa waiver for the 2 day visit to Tianjin (which of course is in a different Province to that of Shanghai)? Please advise.

What country you enter Shanghai from will make HUGE difference. Example (Not Korea) > Shanghai > South Korea is allowed as transit without visa. South Korea > Shanghai > South Korea needs a visa. Japan > Tianjin/Beijing > Country other than Japan is allowed as a second transit without visa.
