The main impact was that the road connected China and Central Asia, Europe and enhanced the business relationship and cultural communication among these areas.The products like Chinese silk, damask, satin, silk and other silk products continued to be transported to Central Asia and Europe. Also, the art and religion in the west were introduced to China.
