Do we obtain our transit without visa at the airport? Or do we obtain it in Hanoi?

Hanoi > Beijing > city not in Vietnam or China, is eligible for up to 144 hours transit without visa in Beijing. When you check in at Hanoi let them know you are doing transit without visa and show them ongoing travel plan, bring print out if separate tickets. Once you land in Beijing, there is 24/144 transit without visa, leave airport (or something similar). The background looks like the photo on the top right of the page, wording has slightly changed but will mention 144 hours. Its opposite side of all the people at the numerous finger print scanner kiosks. They will confirm your transit and put a stamp in the passport for the Temporary stay. Then follow all the people to the passport control for foreigners to get to baggage claim/Exit.
