About:Overseas Chinese Town East

We are staying in Shenzhen Sunon Hotel. How do we get to OCT East?

Can we take the subway (how long is the journey & cost) or is there any OCT tour buses which we can take? Can taxi take 5 persons?

Hi Wendy, you don't need to take the metro and you can take the direct bus No.103 at Outpatient Department 2 station, about 8 minutes' walk from your hotel. Then get off at Mecha Hospital station. Walk about 5 minutes later, you will see the OCT Bay. The whole ride takes about 1.5 hours and CNY5. There is no tourism bus line near the hotel to OCT Bay.

I read that there is a tourist sightseeing bus from Menzhenbu Station on Shennan East Road, near Laojie Station exit C, to OCT East, is that correct?

Any idea how much a taxi would cost to got to OCT East from Laojie? Can 1 taxi take 5 pax or do they have those bigger taxi? Thanks

Dear, the taxi cost is about CNY170 - 180. And a normal taxi can only accommodate 4 passengers and you'd better hire a business class coach with 7 seats.

Thanks for your reply. Actually we have 10 pax in our group. How much is the business class coach, can it take 10 pax?

It may cost about CNY500 a day and you can choose the coach with ten seats.
