About:China Private Visit Visa

Nephew and niece Visa

I am studying in china and I want to invite my sister to China for visit , can my 2 year old niece and 7 years old nephew come with her on the same S2. My sister can’t come without her kids.

The S2 type can be issued for the "family members", which refers to spouses, parents, sons, daughters, spouses of sons or daughters, brothers, sisters, grandparents, grandsons, granddaughters and parents-in-law. Thus, I'm afraid they cannot apply for S2 type for visiting you in mainland China.

The kids can apply for tourist L type for mainland China. If you doubt, you can contact the China embassy to inquire if they can apply for the S2 type. Good luck.
