About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

My nephew was born in Singapore His dad is chinese citizen and mom is filipino citizen

Parents were told that they are unable to apply chinese citizenship for my nephew due to philippones rules. Anyone who has answer to this?

If he has got the Filipino passport, he cannot get Chinese citizenship as China does not acknowledge dual citizenship.
