About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

72 hours waiver multiple times.

Can I use multiple times? I will be in Shanghai for just under 3 days and two weeks later I’m back in Shanghai for just over 24 hours. Will the 72 hour free transit waiver apply both times?

There is no limit on how often you can use 144 hours transit without visa at Shanghai (it's not 72 hours), and nor is there any minimum time between uses.
