Great Wall in end December

Is it consider holiday or peak during end December ? How is the weather?

It's in winter as well as tourist off season with less travelers in the end of December in Beijing. However, it is still accessible to climb the Great Wall. The weather is chilly and dry with heavy wind sometimes during that time. If you are lucky, you may catch the snow view, which is pretty stunning. I suggest you wear warm clothes. Good luck!
