About:Simatai Great Wall

great wall ticket

If we want to go up the great wall around 4PM and come down after they lit the light, what ticket we should buy? day or night one?
and for one way cable ticket, can we choose to use either way up or down, or it's compulsory to use on the way up? Thank you.

Farida, a daytime ticket allows you to enter during 09:00 – 16:10 and leave before 17:00; with a night ticket, you can enter after 17:30, meaning that they don’t overlap. Therefore, it seems impossible to come down after the light is lit if you go up at around 16:00.
