About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Dubai-Shanghai-Bangkok

I fly from Dubai to Shanghai, stay for 3 days then travel on to Bangkok before returning to Dubai, will I qualify for the 144 hour free transit?

If you have UAE passport then yes you can do 144 hour TWOV

Just the passport is important, not the residence card so you're fine for the 144h twov.
