We're planning to go to new zealand but will be needing 6 to 7 mos stay in hong kong just for our dogs. New Zealand needs our dogs to stay in their approved country for 6 mos. for us to proceed in our migration there. We chose hong kong to stay for that duration. What visa will i be applying just for this case?

If you want to stay in hong kong for 7 mos, maybe you can try to apply for a HK visit visa for that.
