As my plan to visit Shantou during 2019 CNY. Instead of just explore Shantou, is it convenient to explore Nan Ao by public transport for solo traveler? And what is the last transportation to Shantou from Nan Ao?

Yes, it is convenient, and you can take the roundabout bus 601/ 602 and walk to travel in the island.From the island, you can take the Bus 161A at the Nan’ao tourist service center station and get off at Shantou General Bus Station.

From Shantou, it departs from 06:30 to 18:30From Nan'ao, it departs from 07:00 to 18:30(November to April)/19:00(May to October).
