About:Nan Ao Island

Is it convenient to explore Nan Ao by public transport for solo traveler?

As my plan to visit Shantou during 2019 CNY. Instead of just explore Shantou, is it convenient to explore Nan Ao by public transport for solo traveler? And what is the last transportation to Shantou from Nan Ao?

Yes, it is convenient, and you can take the roundabout bus 601/ 602 and walk to travel in the island.

From the island, you can take the Bus 161A at the Nan’ao tourist service center station and get off at Shantou General Bus Station.

How about the bus service schedule? The earliest and last bus from Shantou to Nan Ao and wise versa

From Shantou, it departs from 06:30 to 18:30
From Nan'ao, it departs from 07:00 to 18:30(November to April)/19:00(May to October).
