Hainan Visa policy

My latest information on the Hainan Visa policy is that people from specific countries (for example Germany where I am from) can enter the island without a chinese tourist visa. Instead, they can get another one at the airport, as long as personal details as well as travel details (flight tickets, hotel bookings) are forwarded to a Hainan travel agency in advance (which then informs border patrol to issue a visa on arrival). Are my information correct?

Simon, according to what I know, you must book a tour from the travel agency and then they are willing to receive you at the airport. In this case, you can enjoy visa exemption for a stay not exceeding 30 days.
