About:Meili Snow Mountain

Snow at Meili Snow Mountain and Shika Snow Mountain?

Hello Travel China Guide team,

Thank you for creating such a useful website.
I might be planning on travelling to Yunnan & Shangri-La next week. I was wondering if today, there is still snow @ either Meili Mountain or Shika Snow Mountain? Heard this year the temperature went high...

Hi, Julie, Meili Snow Mountain is a snow-covered mountain all year round with a snow line of about 5,000 meters. As for the Shika Snow Mountain, it often snows in the end of October, so i'm not sure whether you can see the snow on Shika Snow Mountain or not next week. Thus you should recheck the weather forecast before going there.
