About:Hong Kong Airport to Shenzhen Ferry

We plan to take the Shenzhen Shekou Ferry to HKIA in November.

I will be flying on Cathay Pacific and my cousin on China Eastern to Los Angeles.

1. Can we both get boarding pass and luggage forward to the respective airlines for that flight?
2. Do we clear China custom and immigration in Shekou?
3. Will we both arrive at HKIA departure gates and no need to clear HK Custom and Immigration?

Thank you so much for response to the above question.

Dear, you can get the boarding pass and luggage forward to the respective airlines but your cousin may not, because the Cathay Pacific has opened this service in Shekou Ferry but China Eastern don’t.

Yes, you need to clear China custom and immigration in Shekou. You go to the airport from Shekou and do not enter Hong Kong, so you don’t need to clear HK Custom and Immigration. Hope to be helpful. Nice trip!
