Travelling from England to Bejing to pick a cruise up.

We are flying from England to Dubai then onto Bejing to pick up a cruise. Will we be Ok to to spend the first night in Bejing then a few days later get off the ship at hong kong to spend a few hours there on the VFT ? Thank you x
