i an on cruise which calls in at shanghai for two days, shanghai for a dayhong kong

Do I need a visa for the cruise or does the fact that I am in transit from one place to the other with seas days in between mean I do not?

They look at the port before and after shanghai. Both need to be different countries. Hong Kong counts as its not considered China for transit purposesSo [Country other than Hong Kong] > [Shanghai] > [Hong Kong]
