About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I arrive to China and leave to Thailand

I arrive to China on 5/1/19 at 3:10 and leave to Thailand on 5/4/19 at 2:10 can I apply for the 72 hours permit?

It depends from which country you arrive in China and in which chinese city you transfer.

I'm flying from Southern California and arrive in Beijing on 5/1/18 at 3:10 pm then fly to Thailand from Beijing on 5/4/18 at 2:10 pm
