Conducting answers from travel agents 're visa

Going to shanghai for 2 nights pre cruise,boarding shop in shanghai,to go to Seoul in s korea,then on to bejing for 3 nights on-board ship.do we need a visa if so what type,and how much are they.we are travelling from the UK to shanghai.
