About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Dalian via Hong Kong but back through Beijing

Hello, I have a colleague getting a flight out to Dalian from the UK, going through Hong Kong hopefully on a port visa that will be arranged overnight. The return flight comes through Beijing, will she require entry permit to transit from Dalian through Beijing to the UK?

Two stops in Dalian and Beijing limits you to 24 hours transit without visa. Any longer than that requires a visa or a different route.
