S Visa. Hi, good morning!

I am working in China.
Please help what to do if I want my mom to have multiple entries so she will save time applying visas every time she wants to visit me.
Thank you in advance.

If so, your mom can try to apply for S1 type from the China embassy. If it can be done, she can apply for Chinese residence permit after entering China. This residence permit will allow her to exit and enter for multiple times within its validity.

Thanks for the quick response.

If she has the S2 VISA, (1) will it allow her to apply residence permit?
If not, (2)what are the workarounds we can do so she can stay longer (in 3 months perhaps, for now),
and at the same time (3) how she can have the multiple entries (considering the S2)?
Thank you so much once again.

S2 type cannot allow her to apply residence permit. She can prepare all required documents for the application of the S2 type, and then apply for the multiple entries S2 type from the China embassy in your home country. Just give it a try.

Thank you Greene.
She has already the S2.
Is there anyway, at least, that can extend her stay, perhaps another 2 more months? (She was granted S2 for 1 month, 1 entry only).

Another thing is, how can she get S1?
I was actually expecting she will be given S1 and not S2 because she is my mom.
Did we tick the wrong choice?

On the "purpose of the visit", what we ticked was "Short-term visit to foreigner residing in China due to work, study or other reason".

Should we choose "As accompanying family member of foreigner residing in China due to work, study or other reasons", instead?

Let me thank you once again for clarifying on these.

For how long it can be extended depends on the bureau and the reason why she wants it extended. The required documents and application form of S1 are the same as the previous application for S2 visa. You can choose "As accompanying family member of foreigner residing in China due to work, study or other reasons". Then the consular officers will give proper duration of stay based on the actual entries and days she needs.

Okay, thanks!
Maybe just one last for this: considering the S2 given, can we apply extension in China?
Thank you.

It's possible to apply for the extension at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China. You can have a try.
