China trip in Winter Best Destination

Hi

We are couple , planning to travel for vacation to China (maybe Hong Kong) for 13 days at the end of December.

We would like to see cities, local markets, history, and some attraction like walking on Glass Bridge. (Maybe zhangjiajie)

Our thought was to Visit: Beijing, Shanghai, maybe Suzhou and South China (don't know where).

We can go by train or flight, we don't mind cold weather.
No Budget limit till now.
What is the best Place for new year evening , and fireworks , Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong ?

I Appreciate if you can help me to build basic itinerary and how much time to spend in each city.

Thanks in Advance

If you want to feel the atmosphere of New Year, Beijing is recommended to you and Beijing, as the capital of China, is crowded with many places of interests and it is the best choice for you to get learning the history. Shanghai is also a better destination, as one of the busiest city of China. Xian also will not let you down. I think you should book a tour if you want to enjoy yourselves in China. This website TravelChinaGuide is a travel agency company and maybe they can help you arrange a perfect tour itinerary. Last year, I spend a great time in China in May with the help of them. Hope to be helpful.

Thanks very much, so is there fireworks at Beijing at new year evening? As I heard there isn't, this is why I plan to spend the new year evening at Hong Kong.
I will take travel service but first I need to close the iterniry, I mean I have 11 days to spend in China at January, what to start first :
Beijing 3 days
What else? I have 8 days to spend, what province to visit?
Please don't forget that it is winter time in China.

I appreciate your response.
Thanks

No, there is no firework in Beijing in order to protect the environment and avoid the fire accidents. You can first visit Beijing for 3 days, then go to Xian for 2 days, then stay at Shanghai for 3 days, then go to Hong Kong for 3 days. Or maybe you can spend a warm winter in Hainan province. Hope to be helpful.
