About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Korea-China-Malaysia and Malaysia-China-Italy - is it doable with two TWOV?

Hi everyone, I will be traveling from Korea (ICN) to Guangzhou (CAN) and then to Kuala Lumpur (KUL).
So I will need to apply for a 72hours TWOV when checking in from Korea to China.
After leaving to Kuala Lumpur, can I do Kuala Lumpur - Guangzhou - Milan?
That would require me to ask for a second TWOV when checking in from Kuala Lumpur to China, right?

I think this should be doable in theory since I will basically be doing Korea-China-Malaysia and then Malaysia-China-Italy, they should be treated as 2 different itineraries. What do you guys think? Thanks in advance!

Yes, your plane can land in china once in each direction and you are eligible for two separate transits.
